Bobble Filtered Water Bottle:  Proud owner of one of these bottles and love using it. Busy at the kids school, out on a trail run or a practice field & unsure of the quality of the water, I'll just pull out this bottle with a built-in charcoal filter and voila!  Hydration without concern.

Now onto this week's post.  Sunshine in Seattle and I spy lots of peoples legs & arms out and about. All of the visible flesh in the PNW had me thinking about the rush that most of us are under to get fit before summer. Unfortunately most people are hoping to lose weight and will try any method possible to drop LBS but that's not what is important, being healthy is what matters. Well, it's what matters to your body and longevity anyway. The smartest way to kick-off your fitness regimen & start with a clean slate would be to detox first (assuming you are healthy and your Doctor approves). 

Our bodies are bombarded by harsh toxins & chemicals from our surrounding environment daily. Chemicals, pesticides, hormones and other pollutants are found in all the processed foods we eat, often in the water we drink and the air we breathe. Although our bodies do have some inbuilt means of expelling toxins, there are now so many different substances passing into our bodies that the toxic burden is proving too great for many to deal with properly. These harmful substances have accumulated to such an extent in many of us that chronic illnesses are proliferating at both the physical and mental levels. Starting a workout program off with integrity and cleaning up your eating habits will prove to have the healthiest outcome in the end.
